Is Swagbucks legit?

It is as real as it can get. The site has been in existence for over 10 years and has very many positive reviews from accredited review sites like Trustpilot.

Swagbucks’ parent company Prodege LLC is BBB (Better Business Bureau) accredited.

It has had an A+ rating for close to ten years now. Over the years, the company has paid close to $293 million in cash and gift cards.

It gives out a whooping 7,000 gift cards to its members daily.

Swagbucks Review 2021: How It works

Swagbucks is a loyalty rewards program. Over the years, the site has become renowned for giving out PayPal money and Amazon gift cards in exchange for people doing simple tasks like shopping online or searching the web.

Apart from these two activities, they also offer other opportunities to earn points. You are basically paid for doing what you already do on a daily basis.

Every day can be a rewarding day, with activities like watching videos,  online shopping through various online retailers like Amazon, taking the frequent surveys, and referring your friends and getting 300 SB bonus plus 10% of their lifetime earnings.

You get rewarded in points called SBs (Swagbucks) which you can then redeem for Amazon gift cards or Paypal cash. You can convert these points into cash or gift cards at your preference.

The more points you accumulate over time, the more rewards you will earn. Using Swagbucks as often as possible, therefore, becomes a priority if you want to get the best out of the service.

Incorporating its use into your daily routines makes it easier and more lucrative for you in the long run.

Swagbucks Review 2021: Swagbucks availability

Swagbucks is live in most countries starting from the Americas where it was founded. Over the years, its operations have expanded to cover Europe and Asia.

If your country or region is not covered yet, just sign up using your email, and Swagbucks will let you know when they set up shop in your country!

Swagbucks Review 2021: How To Make Money On Swagbucks

Before we begin, I want to mention that I have used Swagbucks for years now and have come to discover what works and what doesn’t.

I came up with a list of Swagbucks hacks that can help you make more money on Swagbucks without necessarily having to spend hours and hours on the platform. You can find my list of Swagbucks hacks here.

These Swagbucks hacks will save you a great deal of time and help you to potentially make a good amount of money fast.

Now let’s continue talking about the different ways you can make money on Swagbucks.

1. Taking  Surveys

This is one of the more popular ways to make money on Swagbucks compared to other methods. Users can expect to earn 40 to 100 SB for the typical survey.

The number of points you earn will depend on the amount of time a survey will take you to do.

Here’s how it works.

Major brands pay Swagbucks for customer feedback on their products and services. When you take a survey that suits your demographic, you provide valuable information to these brands,

Swagbucks then gets paid for this. They then share a part of their commission with you for taking the survey. You get paid in form of SBs.

Your feedback is very important because it is needed by these companies to inform their marketing strategies.

Qualifying for surveys will depend on how well you answer the pre-qualification questions at the very first step-the signing up process.

Apart from the usual forms you fill, you will also be required to provide your demographic information. Details such as your age, sex, income, interests, marital status, and race will be required.

The info you provide is directly related to the type of surveys you will be offered later.

Swagbucks offers three major survey options: Everyday surveys, the Daily Poll, and a Daily survey. You can find survey options daily in your account.

Pro tip: Answering surveys is one of the most common methods of making money on Swagbucks, but it is definitely not the best.

You will spend a lot of time answering surveys only to get kicked out halfway through because you are not the right fit.

Plus, it usually takes way more time to answer those surveys than what the stipulated time is. If they say the survey will take 15 minutes, most of the time it takes 30-40 minutes.

I have talked about all this in my Swagbucks hacks article.

2. Playing featured games

There are games you can play to leisurely earn points. With the extended range of games now available, I will only mention a few popular ones like Solitaire, Bejeweled, Bingo, Champions,  Angry Birds, and Slots.

I like playing these games when I’m in line waiting for something or when waiting to pick up my kids. It’s fun and you get to make some money while at it.

A few requirements before you can try a hand at these games:

  • You will have to turn off any ad-blocking software you may have running on your browser.
  • The latest version of Adobe Flash Player should be installed on your computer.
  • You will earn rewards for each dollar you spend on in-game purchases.

3. Browse the Internet

Using the Yahoo-powered Swagbucks search engine, you can now monetize your internet searches. Install this on your browser to earn points every time you go online looking for something.

It is still, however, unclear how many points you get for each site.

4. Swagbucks discover

Earn rewards for signing up for free trials and services, downloading featured mobile apps and more. So get hunting for the best deals and bargains available to earn yourself a few extra points.

You can find special offers and deals from various known retailers like Amazon.

5. Buying gift cards

There are two ways to earn SBs on one gift card. First, each time you buy an e-gift card, you get a percentage of the gift card value back in the form of points.

The second way is to use it to buy something with it while shopping. If you are planning to do your shopping on Swagbucks, purchase that store’s gift card on Swagbucks. Use it, then, on your shopping trip and watch your points double.

6. Get cashback

Save more by earning cashback every time you get your online shopping done with Swagbucks. Save at more than 1500 retailer shops available.

Each time you use a Swagbucks link for your shopping, they receive a commission from the retailer. You then get a share of the pie in the form of SBs.

Depending on the retailer you shop at, it can take up to 30 days for your points to reflect in your account.

7. Swagbucks referral program

Stack up the points by getting your friends to join using the referral code you send them.

You will benefit in more ways than one. both you and your friend get 300 SB when they join. You’ll also earn 10% of your friends’ SB earnings for as long as they’re a member as long as they keep using the service, too!
